    Email Purchase Orders

Having finally got stock control under control in EPOS and finding the purchase order side much easier to work with than how we previously worked, but I still can't for the life of me find how to email a purchase order.

Prior to purchase and during installation, we were assured that emailing from EPOS was possible (even to the point where it could self-generate and email purchase orders if required!).

I can't find anything in the help file, the manual is rudimentary and nothing has been mentioned on the forum that I can find.

Am I missing the wood for the trees - which is entirely possible when staring at something for long enough?

    Hi Helen,

If you have Microsoft Office installed on your PC you can save stock order as a Word document or Excel spreadsheet, although EPOS will only export the text from the stock order and not the boxes you see on the stock order.

To do this, go to "Stock order", then click "Print". At the top of the screen to the right of "Close" you can see a microsoft office icon. You have 2 options to "Publish it with Microsoft word" or "Analyse with Microsoft Excel". You can then save these files and attached them to an email

Thanks Paul for responding. It's a bit of a clunky solution but it'll have to do (for now). We were led to believe that you could email purchase orders directly from the programme interface (which I must say is a pretty basic expectation these days).
