I have a regular customer who's account only now goes back to June 08, (we started with EPOS 0ver a year and a half ago now, other customers seem to have retained all their information. She must have purchased items before then as I allocated her points to her account in Dec 2007 - this bit of info is retained.
Unfortunately she swears she paid for an item (deposit on a holiday) in either March April or May, but i have no record or memory of this, she cannot find receipt, I am sure she is honest, but the system has let me down by not retaining her information, and if it loses one thing what other stuff am I losing?
Any ideas on
1. how to trace this transaction
2. Whether if I find it I can then allocate it to her rerospectively?
3. Why this has happened
4. what i can do to stop it happening again?
