    Deleting orders

    Hi,

    Recently I've had to delete a couple of orders, but the system doesn't seem to work as I expected.

    When I delete the order, I would expect the 'un-ordered' products to no longer have an entry in the 'quantity on order' field. However, the field is still populated, and I have to go in and manually remove them.

    Am I doing something wrong, or is this just the way it is?

    Hi when you create an order you can select the option to delete all items on backorder - we use the orders screen to generate and we book in using stock in and delete the original order as when you book in you still get left with on order for out of stock items so when creating future orders when you select each product what you have left is on back order if your supplier supports this - hope this helps

      That's great, thanks for that.

      Soon I'll get to grips with this system. Generally I'm very pleased with it, but there are several things which 'niggle'.

      No doubt most of them are just me not knowing how to use it properly, and other things will probably be addressed in future versions.
