Adding a function button to sale screen

    Morning all,
We have a new install of the Actinic Epos.
The only thing we find very frustrating is the F10 Menu in the Sales screen.
I want to be able to put some of the functions from that menu onto buttons on the front screen where the prodct buttons are. Ie: Cancel Red screen, Discount an Item, Open Cash draw, Change price of an Item etc. I want these on buttons as its really difficult to find these options in a drop down list when your busy.

Dose anyone know how to do this as I can not see any information for it.
    Many thanks
    Simon

Just to clarify, On the Right hand side of the sales screen there is a colunm with some F number buttons ie A button for F4 Void etc.
There is a button for F10 for (Sales Options).
It is some of these catagories in that drop down list that I want to put as a button on the front sales screen.

Our old epos system let us customize the sales screen to how we wanted it and even move the lay out and move buttons to where we wanted them change font etc or add photo.
There seems to be a huge lack in ability to do this on the Actinic Epos system.
I cant see anything on this topic and I am thinking there is no way of changing these things currently on here.
I Cant seem to even move my sales buttons in the order that I want them.
Actinic help reading in, please could you put this on your wish list as it would make a huge difference to have the control of how you want your sales screen to look.
Ever shop is different and have different needs and most Epos systems now you can design your own sales screen.

Adding a function button to sale screen

          Hello Simon,

Your suggestions have been added to the wish list and I can understand that having some of those functions on the front of the sales screen would be useful.

If there are some on there that you don’t use, you can tidy up the menu box by removing some of those options. At least that would make it easier to find the ones you use the most when in a hurry.

To do that you need to go to: Setup\System Security.

          Thanks

          Andy

            Hi Andy,
Thanks for that, yes it would be very practical and usefull to have this.
I have cleaned it up as much as possible but it really is a nightmare when your busy and you need to discount a line, or cancel the red screen etc its just fiddlely and time consuming.
Coloured buttons are always much easier to use.

Also is it possible to put on the wish list when you want to discount a line, is it possible to instead of only changing 1 product at a time then having to go back into the menu and select another to highlight several at a time then discount the selected items. I know there is a option for discount everything in this sale but this is not practical when you already have other things scaned into the sale and then have 4 or 5 items that you need to discount.

Currently this takes a lifetime to discount each product at a time and get allot of huffs and puffs from customers lol

            Many thanks
            Simon
