Windows 7 or Vista

Hi,

Is anybody using EPOS on a machine with Windows 7. I have read that it should be ok with UAC switched off. Would it be ok to use it on a machine with Windows 7 or should I use Vista, or even XP.

My Main Actinic Business machine has Windows 7, just want to know what to get to run EPOS on another machine.

EPOS isn't W7 compatible yet.

The next release (no date yet but likely to be a few months) will make EPOS W7 compatible. Some fairly extensive changes have to be made. It's not complex work, but there's a fair amount to do.

What about Vista, will it work on Vista? And is it OK for Actinic Business to be running on Windows 7 on another machine as far as the EPOS link goes?

Yes, EPOS 3.10 works on Vista.

Any update on when this release will be, having just bought more licence keys, moving to SBS2008 server and adding hardware has us running windows 7 machines.

This is pretty critical for us, and would be nice for a little bit of attention to be made on EPOS now that V10 is out?

We now have EPOS working on Windows 7 in the lab. It should be a few more weeks before we can release a beta.
