Problem after update when choosing customer

Hi

I have updated one of my customers from an early version of checkout - just before it became Actinic - the database structure had slight differences so I had to do an install of v3.10 and then manually import the data.
Everything works ok, except - when choosing a customer to put a sale through i get and 'invalid use of null' error - this does not occur for customers built in via the interface - only those manually imported. I have altered the customer account numbers to the 1-99 format from the original 1_99 and have completed the postcode fields which appeared to be mandatory - what have I missed? - is there data written to a table other than tblCustomer when a customer account is created?
My client wasnt happy that the software had the errors from 10/4 and I really need to get the system bug free before we do the rest of the stores - please help

Thanks Andy - after a little head scratching I worked out it was the County field - really appreciate the help - seems to have fixed the problem.
