Price Maintainence in EPOS Link

I have updated my prices in Epos. Epos link appears to be working - little green boxes on the stock monitor, however although the prices in Actinic Business have increased with the Vat rise they are no longer in line with EPOS. I have run a price refresh from EPOS twice without a result. I must have missed a step here is there a box I haven't ticked somewhere?
I have currently suspended the site while I sort the VAT and repricing out but need to know i can reprice everything i need to in EPOS and Business respond.

Any advice welcome

Quick update, have realised some prices have changed, others have not. I cannot figure out what the difference is between those that are functioning OK and those not, think I have checked all fields but unable to isolate differences.

OK following investigation and help from Support I think I understand what is happening. the Link between EPOS for stock maintainence is based on the product ref field.
The link for updating and linking prices is based on the barcode. Many of my products were initially built in Business then used to populate EPOS when I purchased that system, so the link was created before I used barcodes. Products added after the Epos system were sometimes added by export (including barcode) and sometimes as independent products without the barcode as I had not appreciated the need for it on the website. Infact if you do not have the epos link switched on, there is nowhere to manually put the barcode on the product screen in Business.
So now I have a problem, how to update Business with the barcodes for all those that are already there I have numerous products on Business that are only available online, and that have numerous components and attributes which I do not want wiped. All ideas welcome. Ideally I think it would be good if I could switch the price update link to the product ref rather than the barcode. Not being a techy I have no idea what the implications of this are or if it is even possible. All ideas welcome.

Couldn't you update the products by importing via an update the new barcode - i.e. what the barcode is on the packaging? I would be careful about importing if you have many layers of products and images. I used the an import to correct descriptions and because I have 4 sections to drill down to, it messed up all the images (for 800 products!).
