How do you delete a product?

If we 'delete' a product in the products screen, the details are still 'live' in the data sheets but we were told that we shouldn't delete anything from the data sheets.

This causes a problem if we need to re-instate a product, as when we try to add it in the products screen, we get a barcode/product code already in use.

How do you delete a product?

Hello Jo,

If a product is deleted from within the Products screen then it ought to delete from the data sheets as well. If a product is deleted from the View screen then this causes a problem as the product will still be stored within the data sheets and cause a confliction if you try to add it again.

Actinic EPOS latest version 3.12 has removed the function to delete products from areas which cause this issue so I recommend you upgrade to the latest version. Download here

We still have older ghost products from versions before the 3.12 we still rum but can't get into the tables with access to delete the barcodes.

How should I be trying to do this please.
