We have two copies of EPOS, both pointing to the same database. However, only one of the computers has a receipt printer attached. Since the second copy of the program is to allow us to do backoffice stuff while the till is being used this won't matter EXCEPT when things get busy. We want to be able to use the second copy of the till program to handle the extra customers quickly.
However, when testing it with the A4 printer (which we intend to use for invoices) we found EPOS won't print to it. The print routine asks for the print format, we click on "Invoice" and tell it to print and nothing happens. The printer we want to use is set as the default printer, and we've also managed to send reports to it from the second computer, so I guess this is a setup issue.
