    Stock reports

    Hi,

We have just changed over to Actinic from another EPOS system.

On our old system at the end of the day we could produce a report that listed the items that were sold during the day and showed their up to date stock level after those sales. This was what we produced our orders for suppliers from as the range and type of our stock is too complicated to automate ordering.

At the moment the only way I can come up with of doing this is to print out the sales ledger and then go to the product card for every individual item to check the stock level. We can average 75 different items during the day. Surely there must be an easier way than that?!

Any ideas? Is it possible to create or customise a report?

Its not the answer to the question your asking but what about using the ordering tab? you have a minimum stock level set on all your products and that way when something gets sold the ordering>select stock replishment will show you a list of items your that you require (you can even filter it by supplier).

      Hello Mary

      Could you try this :

Reports | Sales tab | Best Sellers by Category Inc Stock level

It lists the quantity sold, current stock level and the quantity on order for each product sold in the specified interval

..and let me know if it helped at all.
