Selling products in sets

Hi

I have some Christmas decorations (angels if you must know) in sets of 6. I have broken up the sets and intend to sell them individually as well as sets

The sets and individuals each have their own barcode and are set up as different products in EPOS. I have booked the stock into EPOS as individual products, so the sets show as zero stock.

In order to keep stock control working, I want to record 6 individual product sales when I sell a set. How can I program EPOS to do this?

Or is there a better way?

I assume by the lack of response that this is not possible.

I have found the answer myself for this, an d though I would share for everyone's benefit.

the answer lies in "Stock shift Quantity" You add a second barcode for the item being sold as a set and put the number in the "Stock Shift Quantity" box.

Shame SD didn't come back with this answer.
