I reported that issue on 25th Feb, and Bruce said it wouldn’t occur in the live release. -

I didn't delete enough of the BETA installation.
You need to completely uninstal v18, ticking the option to remove settings. Then remove any remnants from ProgramData, Program Files (x86) and the Registry, and delete the Sites folder.
Once I'd done that and reinstalled, it was fine.
