Has anyone got Realex / globalpay.com working in v2013? And if so how?

Has anyone copied the occ scripts from a later version and got it working?

I did a psp upgrade (PSPsetup1401PDSC.EXE) on v14 and comparing scripts from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck 2013\OCCUpgrade\CommonOCC
and
C:\Program Files (x86)\SellerDeck 2014\OCCUpgrade\CommonOCC...

PostRealex.fil
OCCRealexScriptTemplate.pl and
Act_OCCRealexTemplate.html

Between v2013 and v2014 the scripts are identical (apart from a $Revision: number in OCCRealexScriptTemplate.pl).

In fact v2013 and v2016 are the same too! (Things get different in v18 when MD5 is replaced by SHA.)

The question is if the scripts are the same why does v14 after PSPsetup1401PDSC.EXE work with Realex and 2013 does not?
