Import file

Hi everyone,

I have been using a spreadsheet to generate a new spreadsheet which is work very well.

I want to transfer a site from V09 to the SD13, I have imported a snapshot but that brings loads of stuff from V09. So I want to start a fresh in SD13, but I want to bring in the old page names for the section and then generate all the products a new.

Can I get all the structure of the sections to be imported, page names etc. and no products.

Any thoughts.

Yes - In your export delete all lines that start with Product and import. Backup first of course!

Do you have to keep the 'ends' in?

Yes you do - go to your Common Folder in Sellerdeck and have a play with the example hierarchical file there (it is saved as a text file.)

For example:

Section Cameras The latest in digital camera technology. 1 etc
Product 39 Digital Camera An affordable point and shoot digital camera. 3999 etc
Product 40 Digital SLR Camera A budget digital SLR camera with zoom lens. etc
End Section

Becomes:

Section Cameras The latest in digital camera technology. 1 etc

End Section
