I am planning to get a Surface to use when away to log into our work server to access Sellerdeck. This should not be a problem at all, as the server is MS Small Business Server (XP Pro) so Sellerdeck will be running on that, just using Surface to access.

I believe that to run Sellerdeck or anything not Windows software, you would need the new Surface that is being released in February, the pro version. Drawback is that it will be even more expensive than the Surface RT. Price not yet decided.
