Next/Previous Products

Has anyone worked out how (if it's possible at all) to create next/previous product links on a product page when using a SSP setup in V12? You used to be able to do it for sections but can't see anyway to do it for products.

Did you ever manage to get this working?

I have been playing around with the product list, list index and list count variables but am not getting very far at all.

edit: Just noticed that you were trying to do it with a SPP setup whereas I am trying using product pages
