Blocking orders

Hi all,

Is it possible to edit out the final stage of the order, so that the order cannot be sent, ideally with a message or bounce page.

Im using actinic business as a price list, not an ordering system. And I need customers to add items to the cart so that can see quantity based prices.

Any thoughts would be great,

You could do that yes. However if you are using the website as a price list and not an ordering system and only edit the final stage of the checkout it could be irritating for customers to fill out their address details before finding there is no means of placing an order through the website. A better method may be to rename the cart / basket buttons such as "Get a quote" or "View price" etc, remove the checkout button in the overall layout and shopping cart layout then place a message on the shopping cart page.
