    Stability issues in Windows 8

We're experiencing some major stability issues in V12.01 with Windows 8 64bit. For no clear reasons Sellerdeck is completely crashing the VM we operate it on. It can happen at any point, whether i have page preview open (which is a system hog) or the program is left open when i go on a break!

This must be an issue with Windows 8, as we also have a backup running on a Win 7 machine which works fine and as far as i am aware has not crashed like this. When we examined the problem, it looks like CPU usage hovers around 90%-100% and leaves the whole VM inoperable and needing a v-power off.

Is anyone else running on Win 8 and suffering similar problems?

    Hello Nicola

Just wondering if perhaps the memory allocated for the VM might be the culprit? How much memory is it running on at the moment?

Hi we have 3gb allocated for the virtual machine but we have over 12,000 products so this is obviously going to be a strain on resources. Does compression help? it takes well over half an hour just to reupload our site!

        Hi Nicola

To be honest that would depend on other factors too, such as number of custom variables the site is using. On an average would you be able to say how many pages are generated during upload per per second?
