Customers ordering goods from old websites

Im having a slight problem with customers being able to order old products that are not on our site any more..
We even have a site that used to sell tools, but is now just dedicated to winter products, for 2 years now, customers are still ordering tools from it. 2 years its not been a tool website!!

All sites have been refreshed to no avail so Im stumped

Try looking for old pages on the server and deleting any you don't use any more.

Could it be your host reinstating an old backup, which would put old pages back?

We had this once but noticed straight away as they had reinstated an old design.

If you change the script id number for your site and upload, then people will not be able to add obsolete items to the basket any more, They will get a nasty error though so might not be the best solution.
