Filters missing brands/sizes

Every page on our website has the option to filter by brand. However not all brand options in the sections are showing as filtering options. I have checked that brands are correctly entered but it seems to be ignoring brands when more than 3 options are showing.

As you can see Volkl, Atomic and Armada are missing (amongst others) from the filter. Any ideas?! Thanks

How frustrating! It does appear to be showing now but wasn't earlier which is worrying. Isn't our first upload and I haven't touched the brands recently! I'll keep an eye on it to see if/when it happens again and what causes it.
