    Script Error parsejson filter section

Since upgrading to 12.0.2 from 12.0.1 today, there is a random script error message that comes up on the live site in a section which is populated by a filter. Some times the error comes up and sometimes not, and when it does come up, clicking Refresh removes it, but going on again later it is back there, sometimes. The error message comes up with reference to parsejson. I cannot repeat it exactly as at the moment it is not appearing. The section is http://www.avidlite.co.uk/acatalog/ATKINS.html.

I have read on here about parsejson errors being associated with network settings having addresses typed differently, but this doesn't appear to be the reason in this case.

Is this something temporary to do with the upgrade and nothing to worry about as it will disappear, or is this a bug/error? Anybody come across it?

    Happening more Frequently

The error message is coming up now almost every time you click on Atkins section (section in left side bar). Previously if you click Refresh the error went, but now it doesn't.

I am having a look through the product type list in the variable to see if there are any punctuation marks that should not be there, and product names likewise.

Not happening in other filter section

I also have filtering populating the Brands section, but just one filter for brand. That section works fine without an error message.

I have found a product with & in the title (as in Marks & Spencer), have changed to and, and seeing if has made any difference. Would something like that cause the error?

I see it now: "The filter operation returned a script error. Please try again, and contact us if the error persists. The error was: [SyntaxError: parseJSON]". You may able to resolve it with a refresh. If that doesn't help it could be something more complicated to take up with the SellerDeck Support.

No, & is not the problem

I got excited because I thought the & symbol was the culprit, worked OK a couple of times, but now getting the error again when click Atkins section.

            Thank you Louise

            Sorry, our postings crossed.

Since removing some + symbols in some components, before reading your post, I have not been able to get the error message to come up. I think I will leave it until the error occurs again - if it isn't broke don't fix it - and if it does come up again I will try your suggestions. Thanks.
