As some of you will know (if you don't, sorry i have to break this news to you...) Windows XP will no longer be supported by Microsoft from April next year.
We're currently running the multi-user Sellerdeck 12.01 server on an XP machine, and all but 2 users are also running XP quite happily with very few problems.
There are however currently 2 users, one running windows 8 64bit (me) and one running windows 7 64bit, both of which have serious stability issues, to the point where i have to remote desktop into the server to use it.
The main stability issue seems to be on loading the software it will hang for a very long time while loading the orders (sometimes 20-30 mins), and sometimes it will not load at all.
Has anyone else come across this problem? i'm suspicious it may be a problem caused by the XP-Win 7/8 combination. The problem is I am unable to move the other users to window 7 or 8 (and in turn the server) unless i can find the source of the instability.
Any help or info on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Andy
