Discount off first order

Hi
How would I set up my discounts to enable my customers to receive a discount off their first order using a discount code?

Single-use Coupons would achieve this. Generate a unique coupon code for the discount for each person you want to send one to, once they have entered and activated discount that unique code will no longer work.
