What is the best way of setting up a blog

    Hi all,

Wondering if you can advise please.

I own a domain name called newheadphones.co.uk and I want to use it to set up a blog.

On the blog I obviously want to gain the SEO benefits to musictoyourears.co.uk so I would like it to link to my main site. Having said that it looks like there are more benefits of having it as an integral part of the site.

Is there a way of doing this so that I get the SEO on my site and also use the same thing as a standalone site?

In addition it would be good if I could have this on my analytics account too as I'd like to have some keywords associated with this.

Can anyone suggest the best way to do this please?

    Thanks

    Joel

There's quite a lot of threads in the forum about integrating Wordpress that might be worth reading. Such as this one: http://community.sellerdeck.com/showthread.php?t=49868

      Hi Duncan,

Thanks for this. I don't know how to code at all so this is all a bit above my head.

I'm not really sure what the best thing to do is, set up a separate blog or one on my pages.

      Any thoughts?

      Cheers

      Joel

I'm not an SEO specialist but I understand that the best method is to use a sub domain on your site.
Second best is that you create a blog on the domain you purchased and then place that link and some descriptive words in a fragment on your main site.
The installation of Wordpress is quite straightforward and you will find instructions on the Wordpress site.
