    Member of multiple customer groups

    Hi,

I assume that this is not possible but maybe there is a cunning method I am missing. I want someone to be a member of more than one Customer Group.

so Customer group 1 called Ford has discounts off certain products which are Ford related. The customer can become a member of this group by buying a Ford.

Customer group 2 is called Bentley and has discounts off certain Bentley related products. The customer can become a member of this group by buying a Bentley.

If someone buys a Ford and a Bentley I want them to be a member of both groups and receive discounts off both when they log in.

Any chance or can people think of a cunning plan at the moment I can only toggle between being a member of either group.

I don't think you have missed anything. Create a Ford/Bentley joint group (if they can be merged) or give the guy two accounts is all I could come up with.

Thanks Lee. All I could come up with was to create two separate groups and one joint group.

Create a third "Ford/Bentley" group is the best way to do that, and move your Ford/Bentley purchasers to this group as Lee said.
