I'm trying to use a barcode scanner to enter products in the New Order screen.
It works a treat in the Search -> Keyword to Search field, but when I use it in the "Product Entry -> Ref:" field, it shows the correct value but gives the error "No product found". If you OK this message, then delete the last character and hit enter, it finds it and adds it to the basket, so I'm guessing it's to do with the special characters embedded in the barcode (code 39).
I can't figure out, though, why it works in one field and not another. Is there a barcode system that does work in both fields?
