Filters not showing all options

We have just had an error that appears to have come out of nowhere. All our pages are filtered and for some reason many of the options have stop being shown as options in the filter bar. An example of this is on our skis page. Every product has an option of being a "skis with binding" or "ski only". However the filter is only showing "ski with binding" despite there being numerous products that are "ski only". I have done a refresh with no luck. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Try the Housekeeping menu > Compact Databases.

I had already done a compact of the Actinic Catalog file in our site folder with no luck, however I have just done a compact through the housekeeping menu and it has fixed the issue. Thanks a lot!
