    SD2013 snapshots

I'm working out of the country and have suddenly noticed that the snapshots of my sites do not contain the Site HTML files. Is this right?
Next question: how does SD manage to show the site then? (just curious :-) )

I've got the situation where the extended info on two products has been swapped when viewing online. I've corrected the data in SD and refreshed the site, but the data is still the wrong way round online. I've temporarily reverted to editing the HTML files directly on the site, but something seems wrong as the uploads aren't working properly. If I don't have the site HTML files in my snapshot then of course I won't be uploading changes will I?

Or am I missing something big?

The sitehmtl files are generated fresh each time you do an upload. Sellerdeck has all the details it needs to do this so doesn't include them in a snapshot.

I don't know what's caused the extended info swap but you could try to compact the database and then try a new refresh.

As Mike says, SD compiles the HTML files from the database so to reduced backup file size they are excluded.

For the extended info you are best renaming both the actual extended-name.html to extended-name-2.html (or whatever) in SD for both pages and then manually deleting the old versions from the server via FTP. I think this is an ad-hoc minor glitch as I have experienced it before and just needs slight hitting with a rename to make it work again.

Thanks Mike & Jonty - glad to hear it's a known glitch. Also for the explanation re the Site HTML files. I'll try the compacting idea on the next refresh.
