Order Dispatch Email Not Auto Selected

When i try and send a dispatch email, i have to select the email type before i can. I've taken all options out so there is only one default option, but still have to manually select the email on every order. It's a total PITA! On V10 you just sent emails on each order and it was auto selected.

Anyone had this or any ideas?

IIRC, and I'm not 100% sure on this as it's a while since I looked at it, the automatic email is the one with the layout called 'Order Shipped Email'. If you change the name of the layout then it doesn't get picked up anymore.

Thanks for replying.

The issue is that no auto email is selected by default, it is blank and i have to go in and select it on each order. It doesn't recall what was selected and whatever i seem to do, it is never there for the next order.

I click on the mail button and the layout drop down box has choices in it, but does not have one selected as standard.

As I said, it will only auto select the one called 'Order Shipped Email'. Do you actually have one called this?

I have 'Order Shipped Text Only Email'.

I have just included the one you mentioned into the list, i'm figuring i have the new v12 one in there. But it is still not selected by default.

It sounds as if they've changed something when they added html emails to V12.

I still use V11, so there might be a different default email in V12. The best thing I can think of is to try using a default site and see which one gets picked up. I'd be surprised if this was completely broken.
