Dynamic price problem with 12.0.5

I have recently updated from 12.0.4 to 12.0.5 and we have just noticed we are having a problem with the dynamic pricing on some of the items on the website.

For example here: http://www.dvc.uk.com/acatalog/MXO2_Mini.html.

No matter what options you click on, for any of the items on this page, the price does not change. The third item is a new one I have just created from scratch.

They are all set to "sum of product and component prices". The first two have been on the site for about a year. The third was made today. Only two things have happened recently - I have updated to 12.0.5 and I have changed teh internet hosting package I am using with my hosting company. I would have thouugh that the latter may have caused the problem, but I have other dynamic price items that work: http://www.dvc.uk.com/acatalog/15--laptop.html

I have also noticed that although the price on the item does not change, when you add it to the basket that shows the correct price.

Has anyone experienced this?

Some additional informantion which I don't think has any bearing:
I have has issues in the past with dynamic pricing and had advice from these forums and changed a couple of things. One involved a simple setting in site options "sequential selectionm of product choices" which I have switched back with no effect. The second involved changing some design code. With the second option I checked and the changes I was advised to make are not longer there, but also the things I was advised to change are not there any more. Neither problem was this problem.

I seemed to have solved it. The problem was in the page layout for the page I used on most of my products, but not on the systems which did not have a problem. The variable "dynamicprice" was not on most pages in the "standard layout using CSS". I tried putting it back in but must have chosen the wrong place, since it did not entirely fix it. Luckily I always keep a copy of the original page if I change anything and just replaced all the code in the offending page with the copy, and now it seems to work.

The code must have been changed during the upgade from 12.0.4 to 12.0.5 because I have not changed it for ages and until I put on the update it was working.

The fix you added to change design code was to get around a problem in the software which may have been subsequently fixed in the new patch, you should check those layouts you can revert them in the Design Library.

Thanks for posting. I assume you had posted this before I wrote the bit about finding the problem.

I did check the pages of code as you suggested and they are not what I changed them to, although the problem appears to be a variable disappearing from my main product layout. I general fiddle with these layouts as little as possible as I have not got the time to learn all the possible problems and what the variables do.
