Paypal payments pro

Whilst trying to add 'PayPal Payments pro' i get message saying
'at least one of your configured payment service providers requires the credit card capture payment method to be enabled. Please add the credit card capture payment methods to the list or remove the payment service provider'

can anyone shine some light on this?

Not sure I can help

Are you sure that you do not want to select PayPal Website Payments Pro Hosted Solution, rather than PayPal Payments Pro? We used the hosted solution, so the customer is not keying in any card details on our website, but on PayPal. I am not an expert.

If you take credit card payments via PayPal Pro on your site, you need to enable both PayPal Pro and credit card capture otherwise PayPal Pro will not work.
