Customised stock control ?

Hi all,

I don't think this is possible but, thought I would ask.

Im starting to sell Art and Craft paper and Card sheets again, i have good contacts and can compete with everyone involved in the Trade.

My stock will be a quantity of A3 size sheets, which will be sold as A3 or cut down to A4, A5, A6, depending on what size the customer wants to order.

So if I input in sellerdeck I have 1000 sheets of A3 in stock, can I get it to understand that 2 sheets of A4 purchased should deduct 1 sheet of A3 from stock ?

I think someone will soon tell me it's not possible and I will have to either pre-cut stock, which I do not want to do, or just turn off stock control for those products ?

I'm pretty certain there's no way you can do this in sellerdeck.

What you can do is run an external program such as an excel macro to do the calculations for you and then write the stock levels back into the sellerdeck database.

Not that hard to do but will take a bit of work and the routine would need to be run regularly and the site updated in order to keep everything current.
