Google Merchant Center - Product Feeds.

Hi

I generate a Product Search Data Feed file and import it into Google Merchant Center fine, however I am struggling with my understanding of the required attributes and where to enter them against products within Sellerdeck.

For example, lets take one of my more standard and common products, the O.S LA15. It has a part number from the UK distributor of L-OS11532 and from the mfg of OSMG0016.

It doesn't have a UPC code here: http://www.upcdatabase.com/

It has made it on to the Google shopping feed from a couple of sellers, with an apparent GTIN:

I don't know where that GTIN comes from or what it is?

However, even if I get the GTIN right (placing it in the EAN box against the product?)

Merchant Center is giving me lots of errors which I don't know how to solve - see the screen capture attached.

This is also a recognised product from a recognised mfg - they only get more obscure from here. I believe I am going to need the "identifier exists" attribute set to no for many of the products - but this doesn't appear in the Google Data Feed fields in Product -> General?

Google merchant centre explains all the required information so I can't really see much sense in trying to explain it all again here.

If you have any specific questions about something you don't understand then I'm sure we can help but I'd say the best way to approach it is one thing at a time and I'm sure you'll work it all out.

Thanks for the reply Mike, Focusing on this one specific product -

I have the GTIN from someone else's Google listing, assuming this is right, I believe it goes in the EAN box, is that correct?

Where do my Distributor and Mfg part numbers go?

Looking at the screen capture where does the rest of the information go, e.g. availability and shipping?

The only boxes SellerDeck gives me are:

UPC, Condition, ISBN, EAN & Brand?

For other products, where I dont have a GTIN, where do I flag "identifier exists" = no?

Your problems are the same across your products so looking at all the problems in one go on just one product isn't going to get you anywhere.
