    Deleting Dicount Coupons

Want to offer discount to potential orders taken over the phone, however if you enter the discount code and the customer does not go ahead with the order the discount stays in memory and when you try to place a new order the discount re-appears in that order.

I've tried deleting all the cookies but the discount still remains so if anyone has any suggestions on how to remove it I would be very happy to hear them.

If you are comfortable with editing the .mdb in Access, then you can delete individual coupon codes in the Coupons table. Simply search in that table for the code you want to remove, then highlight and delete the whole line. Save and exit.

Warning: always make a backup copy of ActinicCatalog.mdb first, and close Sellerdeck before making any changes.

I've re-read your post and am a tad confused.

I don't understand the reference to cookies.

Are you using your own website checkout to take customer phone orders?

We have a number of discount codes which can be applied to orders which are taken over the phone by non technical people, if they enter a discount code to calculate the final price and the customer does not want to go ahead the discount stays in the system and when you enter the next order it picks up the discount.

I assumed that the value was stored in a cookie of some type, but your saying it is stored in the Access DB, that I could remove myself but it's impractical for the current users.

The problem will also occur as we want to try using iPad's for door to door selling direct from the website and the same problem occurs there. Presumably that must be stored in a cookie but even after deleting all of the visible cookies the discount still re-appears as soon as you enter another order of a similar value which we may not want to discount.
