problem with database after backing up

Can anyone help me with the following error message I get after backing up a site?


There was a problem with the database

Operation: Opening the [Bands] table sorted by [ZoneID], [ClassID], [CalculationBasis], [BandWeight]

Disk or network error.

Action: Contact your SellerDeck reseller or SellerDeck Support as appropriate

The first thing I'd try is the 'compact and Repair database' operation.
