    .ordx files

I don't suppose anyone has a tool for manually decrypting .ordx files?

I suspect it's not going to be possible. The encryption is pretty solid and the reason they're .ordx in the first place is because sellerdeck decided they were corrupt.

I suspect you're correct Mike..... but there are some terribly clever people on this forum..... you just never know so I thought I'd ask!

True. I always find getting a discussion going is a good way to get a bit of interest in the thread.

There must be some code in the SellerDeck software that does this?

I suppose by trying to find it I'd be breaking the terms of the license though! There's bound to be some clause about reverse engineering the software...

I'm sure the decrypting of the order files will be done by compiled code like the rest of the desktop program.

I should have thought of this earlier but if you're trying to find out the customer details and what's been ordered then you might be able to find it from the session files.

Although I suspect they get deleted upon completion of the order. I do wonder what causes corrupted order files and whether it could be that the program gets interrupted at some point which could mean the session file might still be there.

The order files are generated by the web site so you could start there.

This sheds some light on the mechanism:
