    Hello Chris
we've always had lots of trouble with parcel aggregators such as GFS and GLS, particularly with stuff going to Europe.
It's always the same - the package is sent using courier 'A', for example, and when there's a problem, the aggregator passes responsibility for the enquiry down the line to 'A', where it then gets lost.
Too much send three and fourpence we're going to a dance and not enough ownership of the actual problem.
We only use couriers that use their own fleet all the way such as UPS, DPD/Interlink etc - much more satisfactory.
    Just my ha'porth :-)
    Kind Regards

      Hi Sean

Could not agree more, we just had the GFS guy visit us and it looks like their main couriers are Hermes and Yodel although a few others as well, but really did not seem to understand what we wanted, which was to just benefit from the sellerdeck interface

Think we will stay with DPD as we have just had a big delay with Yodel with 18 parcels from the 26th Nov still not delivered, We were originally with DPD but thought we would try Yodel for a couple of months as offered a far cheaper rate.

      Now we know why

Maybe sellerdeck should try interfacing with the major couriers rather than the middlemen

        Hi Chris
we've been with UPS for several years - a truly excellent company; they didn't lose a single package and only dropped the ball once, possibly twice in all that time.
However, we had to move to DPD/Interlink as their rates are much better (we'll save thousands a year) and they have their Predictive service - customers just love knowing which hour they need to be at the delivery point.
Plus, customers can track in real time, change delivery address, day etc, without involving us.
We got good rates from DPD - have you asked them for better rates?
        Kind Regards

Using DPD also and codepath are currently modifying their export product for us so we can export directly from sellerdeck into DPD's software .(have been using mole end order processing up until now) I'm based in Dublin so not sure the same solution would work in the UK . I also like their new parcel wizard service as mentioned previously.

            Hi

Yes we get a good single rate for all sizes from 1kg to 31kg

We have used the Codepath for DPD in the past, but just getting a new copy for v2014

We've been using GS for a few years now and we would recommend them.

Before GFS we were with UK Mail (or Business Post as it was then). We now use UK Mail via GFS and we save about £1 per parcel. We also have fixed rates for up to 30Kg.

Other advantages is they will do the chasing if things go wrong with the delivery hence saving us from waiting in call centre queues and one point of contact (our account manager) who is very good and getting things done.
