Issues with uploading website with Godaddy Account.

    Hi,

I've recently moved my hosting account to Go Daddy and I'm having trouble when I'm uploading the site. I have a Linux based package with Go Daddy, and I know its definitely compatible.

    The website is www.dap-onlinecat.com

I've noticed that all the images on the website aren't showing and some of the links on the left hand side are also not displaying correctly as they come up with the '404 Not Found error'.

I cant work out why this happens and tried refreshing the website a few times. I also done a 'Web Site Purge and Refresh' as well and ticked the top two options, but still no luck.

Has anybody else come across a similar issue? Can anybody kindly advise me anything?

If you need more information in regards to the setup please let me know.

    Thanks in advance!
    Baz

Lots of people in the past have had issues with Go Daddy and unfortunately I don't remember anyone that managed to get it working.

Try searching for Go Daddy and you will find lots of threads with things to check and try out.

Also post an export of your network settings without passwords and someone may be able to spot something wrong.

      Hi Duncan,

Thanks for the quick response.. I did try searching that but there was a lot of old stuff and thought maybe somebody may have found a way of using it. Its strange because it definitely works as it does display content, its just the pictures don't show and a lot of pages are missing. Below are my network settings, thanks a lot for your help!

It's odd, but looking at your site the one thing that stands out is that it's displaying a .gif image but none of the .png images.

It suggests that either the server isn't serving up the .png images or they aren't being uploaded.

If you ftp into your site can you see the .png files in the /acatalog/ folder?
