Reliable hosting compatible with Seller Deck

We host our sites on Namesco, and it isn't working out too well. Going between Namesco support and sellerdeck support its basically been accepted that namesco won't allow the file permissions for sellerdeck to run properly.

I've given the prices of sellerdeck hosting to my director, but they'd like to get alternative quotes too and ideally cheaper than sellerdeck. I'm wondering what other companies use and how reliable they are with sellerdeck - any suggestions?

I've used Host-It for years. They have Sellerdeck specific hosting, 24 hour support including weekends, and I think are pretty good value. I'd recommend them.

I'd also recommend the 1and1 unix plans as good value and these are used by quite a few people on the forum.

The one caveat I'd add is that smtp / email with the 1and1 shared hosting can be problematic and needs some workarounds to get it working properly. There are a couple of these so it's not a big problem but it does mean a bit more hands on effort than other options might.
