Error code on publish to web

I am using Smart Responsive theme.
I imported a hierarchical file of products and all went well. I have made no changes to the default design.
When I publish to web I see this message;

There are (1) coding error.
Would you like to see the error now (stops process)

I click yes

I see the error;

Error in condition (The 'ProductEmbedVideo' variable has been placed within the 'Standard Product Video' layout, but it wont work there. Click here to go to the code).

Clicking takes me to the Design view : Layout Code -Standard Product Video
Here is the code I see;

I then click publish to web again and it goes through without error.

Anyone else seen this or know how to stop it happening?

I have reverted Standard Product Video to factory settings (even though I havent edited any design) and compacted the database. Its still reporting this error (which isnt an error!)

The code is default so shouldn't return an error. It could be the database or a bug. You compacted the database. Try contacting SellerDeck Support.

thanks Louise, tried that, didnt solve it. Publish to web works without errors the second time, but always returns that error on the first upload.

Have you checked the variable to see which boxes are selected for where it's use is allowed?

Right Clicking on the ProductEmbedVideo variable doesnt bring up an edit variable option.

We believe this is related to bug: SD-3078
This is something that is being looked into fixing in a future version.

I've been told that SD-3078 is

in regards to the coding errors being too strict in regards to variable locations.

This bug seems to have crept back in with V18.

It's still there - now on V18.2 after 4+ years!!!!
