    State missing from US orders

    In SellerDeck v14.0.1, although a customer with a US invoice or delivery address can select and view their correct State during checkout (as defined in Settings : Locations), their State isn't downloaded with the order - the field is found blank in Orders : Customer : Invoice Contact / Delivery Contact.

    This means having to look up and manually enter the correct US State for the order.

    There is a workaround to allow the State to be brought in correctly with the order, however the drawback is that this won't transfer the correct Country code of US to payment service providers. At best, customers would need to re-enter their billing country at that point. To enable the workaround:

    Settings : Locations : Countries : United States : Code : change from US to UU or another non-valid value

    Maybe someone familiar with ActinicOrder.pm can suggest a better fix...?

    I'm glad your problem is fixed in the 14.0.2 beta but I do find it annoying when people delete threads rather than just editing them to explain their mistakes.

    I guess the thing for me, and I suspect others who follow what's happening on the forum, is that I start off by trying to think what might be happening to cause the problem, and then later when I check back I have to think again about why the thread might have disappeared.

    Far better for everyone to just update the thread and explain why the issue no longer exists. It would also help anyone else who might have made the same mistake.

      Forum etiquette noted - for the record, a related issue where State names were appearing blank in v14.0.2 was resolved by the common recommendation of another Refresh of the site. Most likely related to this particular test installation so not a general bug.
