Mega menu hover delay

Rather annoyingly with the Mega menu, as you are aware it goes frantically mad when you move the mouse across it.

So frequently I end up blocking the links I am moving to because an overzealous menu drops out of nowhere.

Has anyone come up with a solution to stop this happening, maybe the menu only drops down if the mouse stops moving for a few milliseconds

For anyone interested, Sellerdeck have given me a revised actinicextras.js file which adds a hover delay to the Mega menu.

I have tried it on a test site and it does work very well, however other aspects of the file break other design elements on the website so it can't be used as is, at least not on my site anyway

I am trying to find the code needed in the new file to see if it can be replaced in my current actinicextras.js to work without breaking the design. if I manage this I will also post it here.
