    Slow Performance

    HI,
    I'm hoping someone can help, we upgraded to Sellerdeck 2014 a couple of months ago and all seemed great. However a few weeks ago the performance when deleting products, switching between orders and design/content has recently become terrible. At times when deleting a product I have to wait up to a minute as it says "Not responding" and then actually deletes the product. This is a fairly major issue considering some days I may need to remove 50-60 products.

    I should add that we have an additional user but the problem appears to happen regardless of whether they are logged in. Support have had a look and can't replicate the issue. Sellerdeck is installed on a brand new computer that is way over specced when compared to recommended system requirements.

    Slightly unrelated as this has always been an issue but I i click on housekeeping Sellerdeck goes "not responding" for a about a minute before loading the drop down. Other menus aren't affected.

    I've done millions of database compacts, restarts etc so any help would be much appreciated.

    Do you have any network drives connected in explorer that are not available or any printers defined that are not available anymore? If you do remove or disconnect them.

    I would also suggest that you compact and repair your database (this is on the housekeeping menu unfortunately)

      A quick look show you loading several external resources that aren't SD standard ones:

      //connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbds.js

      <img src="http://www.feefo.com/feefo/feefologo.jsp?logon=www.sailandski.co.uk&template=service-stars-yellow-150x38_en.png&smallonzero=true" border="0" alt="Feefo logo" title="See what our customers say about us"/>

      <img src="http://www.feefo.com/feefo/feefologo.jsp?logon=www.sailandski.co.uk&template=service-stars-yellow-150x38_en.png&smallonzero=true" border="0" alt="Feefo logo" title="See what our customers say about us"/>

      cdn.livechatinc.com/tracking.js

      You need BlockIf's around the bits of relevant code containing IsNotPreviewMode.

        Thanks for the advice.

        I should have mentioned this is the site:

        http://www.sailandski.co.uk

        I have disconnected the drive but it didn't make any odds, I have also done quite a few compacts (despite having to wait so long for the housekeeping menu to load!)

        Norman, I have put IsNotPreview tags around the bits you mentioned. I will see if it solves the issue!
        How is it you found those bits? Is there anyway to check what elements may be causing a slow down in preview?

          I just searched the source code of your pages for .js and found that few.

          There are undoubtedly other tools that would help point out off-site data loads.
