There's a problem with the shipping address....

This topic was brought up last year but I don't think it was solved properly.

A customer contacted me from the USA today saying that she could not get past 'Confirm Order' as she was getting the message 'There's a problem with the shipping address..etc' . Basically it would not recognise her state.

By Googling I managed to solve the problem by telling her to tick the 'deliver to different address' box.
This is ok as she had told me the problem but anyone else having that same problem may just abandon the sale.

Is there a fix for this on Sellerdeck or is it a PayPal bug?

I can't recall seeing that issue before, for reference I think the post you were referring to is this one: PayPal Issues. Did you raise the issue with SellerDeck Support?.

Yes , that's the one Louise. Although my particular problem referred to the customer who lived in Mississippi. I tried with other states and got the same result.

I'll do another test order later to see if it was a one off or not.

I haven't raised the issue yet but will do.
