    Mega Menu Space issue

    Hi there

I have recently been asked to look at a website I did many years ago to update it to a responsive design - I think I can do this using the smart responsive with the mega menu however i am having a few problems with white space to the right hand side of the drop down. I have tried with various options but always the same result - see screenshot. Anybody else had this problem?

    Thanks

Have you customised the HTML or CSS?. Have you changed the Mega Menu settings different than default?.

Many thanks for your response - I have reset all the menu settings to the default ones and this seems to have fixed the issue - Just two other quick questions - when i look at the mobile version the categories are on a white background (I presume this is further adjustments needed to the css is that right?)

Also is there no drop down menu on the mobile? I get it when I roll over the "more" button but not on the others

      Thanks again

The styles are in the CSS, for screens over 800 pixels it has a background gradient, mobile menu uses different styles and has no 2nd level sections by default.

I had this same issue when I changed the variable DropColumWidth in the mega menu section of the library. If I changed it to greater than the default of 120 then all I got was extra white space rather than the headings filling out the extra space as it did in my non-responsive design website.

Obviously there is some code somewhere in the style sheet which controls this but I don't know where.

I also had problems with the mega menu. The drop downs are fixed width and not flexible or responsive, especially with max width, SellerDeck Support gave a wish list reference WL-3127. Also it would be better to have vertical columns rather than rows, SellerDeck Support wish list reference WL-3128. You could contact SellerDeck to add a vote for those requests.
