Out of stock items. Hide some, keep others visible.

Hi,

I would like to be able to hide some of my products from the website when they go out of stock, but keep others on display with the usual out of stock message.

Is this possible?

Yes, AFAIK it's not standard but it can be done.

You would probably want to use a modified product layout for the products that you want to hide but the best approach would depend on several issues such as whether you just want to hide the product on the page or hide the page that the product is on and whether you want it hidden in RT or just on upload.

Or manually. In SD you can check 'Hide on Web Site' on any product. (Product general tab to the right of the image filename)
