Making font colour as palette colours

I am wanting, in html not css, to have some headings in the Full Description (products) in colours that are in the theme colours, using Palette2 and Palette3. I don't want to use hexadecimal, eg not <font color="#ff5500", as later I shall be cloning the site to be edited for another site with different colour scheme, so want the heading colours in the Full Description to change automatically to the colours in the new theme. Any suggestions as to how I do this? I have tested using Find/Replace in Sellerdeck to change the hexadecimal in the new theme, but Sellerdeck cannot find the text that I enter to find, even if I just enter some plain text that is in the Full Description, and even though I have Full Description enabled for searches.

You can include variables within brackets: !!<<font color="[palette1]">Text Here</font>>!!
You may want to test it works if you use descriptions in marketing lists, search results or plugins etc.

      Perfect!

      That works perfectly. Thanks Louise.

Note there was a bug mentioned here since your post: ""Using square brackets in a product full description misbehaves, breaks product links in search/filtering" SD-4715 (Panned for next release)." The solution is to make sure search and filtering settings do not have the description ticked, it is un-ticked by default.
