    Product Columns

At present I have 3 products across the page (3 columns) in the section listings. I would like to change this to 5, as I now have a wider page as done away with sidebars. However, changing it to 5, or even 4, makes only 1 product across (one column). Very odd. Is there a reason for this, perhaps because of the responsive design, a limit on columns?

For the marketing stuff on the homepage I have successfully 4 columns/4 products across, which suggests that it should be do-able.

How to I add Layout to Product Layout RWD

Is it possible to use a marketing list layout, eg Responsive 4-Column New Product List, to the list of layouts for the selector Product Layout Responsive so that I could use that to get 4 products across? If so, how do I add that existing layout to the list? I have found instructions to remove layouts but not to add them.

There is a limit in the software, they wrote styles for 1, 2 or 3 columns with percentage widths. It would probably not be possible to use the marketing list as that applies to a different area of the site. I was testing 5 columns for sections not products and it was not quick to do, it needs many custom changes.

Hi Louise. I was wondering how you got on creating the 5 column section lists. I am looking to upgrade out site to a responsive design (2014 or 2016) but would need 4 columns for sections and probably products. Many thanks Tony

Creating different columns is possible but requires a number of custom code changes. Unfortunately it's not something that can be done with a few quick instructions.

Hi. I figured this would be the case. I was wondering if you had managed to create one whether you would be interested in selling the design. Can I call you to discuss? Thanks Tony
