    No follow

In later versions such as 2014 - there is a no follow on marketing, not sure if it is good or not, earlier versions allowed search engines to list them - for me best sellers ranked high in searches - not sure if I should reinstate in case google frowns on it, after all sellerdeck introduced it for a reason????

Version 2014 changed from nofollow to canonical tags to tell search engines to index .html version. Version 2013 had nofollow.

Brilliant, thanks, I was concerned in my quest to make the site more Google friendly.

Regarding later versions, do they deal with duplicate products in the same way, I notice in 2014 duplicated products have an identical URL even in different sections etc?

If a product has product page ticked the duplicate product uses the same URL and canonical tag as the original.
