Putting PayPal Checkout Button on the Product Page

I have spotted a web site where this is working - but better not divulge the name. Does anyone have the code to do this please or could give me a steer?

I tried cutting and pasting the PayPal code from the Shopping Cart page and inserting it below the Add to Cart Button but it just returns a message that the Shopping Cart is empty!
